Show, Hide and Move Sheets on the Content Tab (Cloud)
What it is: A way to control which sheets appear in the Annual Financial Statements and in what order, using the Content tab on the ribbon.
What it's for
Not every client's AFS needs every available sheet. For example, some engagements may not need a Checklist, or you may want to reorder sheets so a Director's Report appears before the financial statements. The Content tab lets you activate or deactivate sheets and change their order — all without deleting any template content.
How to do it
Showing and Hiding Sheets
- Open the Annual Financial Statements and select the Content tab on the ribbon.
- The Content tab lists all available sheets. Dark grey sheets are active and will print; light grey sheets are inactive and will not print (they are also hidden from the sheet selection bar at the bottom).
- Click any sheet name to toggle it between active and inactive.
- You can activate or deactivate sheets at any time.
Reordering Sheets
- In the Content tab, click the sheet you want to move.
- Select Move Sheet Left or Move Sheet Right to shift it one position.
- Repeat until the sheet is in the correct position.
- The order in the Content tab matches the order in both the preview and the sheet selection bar at the bottom of the screen.
